My biggest take is the big picture approach and recognizing the known pitfalls. Look at the money, look at the value but realize the situation. I was impressed too. Fritts was part of thr trade back school for sure. He just had no positives as a GM. I can't remember one. -

This is the draft you trade up in, conventional wisdom plus statistics and analytics say you trade back in a normal draft. Where normal drafts have 16 players with first round grades... This one has maybe 8 depending on the team you speak with. If you can't trade up, you trade way back... like out of the first round all together way back. It's the only way the capital ends up being worth a move back for 95% of teams under normal circumstances. -
