Ranking every Panthers draft class alex zeitlow observer

Recommended Posts

here lately the Panthers have reached & traded up time & time again & in the process wasted alot of our draft picks to fill a need/fit that's why most all teams fill their holes in FA & draft BPA

i honestly cannot remember the last time the Panthers drafted BPA in the 1st round ?& i know for a fact that's been one of the main reasons they have been so unsuccessful at drafting quality players here lately

now on the other hand look at Marty Hurney would patientlywait until it was time for the Panthers to pick  & no matter what we needed at that time MH always took the best player avilable & as a result that's one of the main reasons he had so much success especially in the 1st round  of the draft ...just saying

these two rare uniquie yet very similar players. Jalon Walker like Everette Brown could/can BOTH play outside linebacker as well as move inside at edge & both are very good at rushing the passer  .& they once again both have the athletic ability to take on offensive linemen & shed blocks i& also drop hack & contribute in pass coverage.

these two not only  have rare yet very similar skill sets but skill sets  that you would & will not find in your average

2022 2023 and 2024 should be enough to get those involved blackballed from scouting and working in front offices ever again.

Just unforgiveable ineptitude.

Unforgivable. 100%. Oh, we also let Darnold and Mayfield walk. Oh yeah, we also turned down a kings ransom for Burns that could have REALLY fast tracked a rebuild. There is no way football people piloted that ship.

This is illustrative on just how destructive it is to whiff on first and second rounders at all, but especially numerous years in a row.

How 2014 ranked as high as number 12 I just don't know. Trai Turner and Tre Boston are your standouts and I'm not sure how much they'd have seen the field with other teams. Actually, we know from history the answer to that.

agree w/ others on 2013 being way too low.  Only 5 picks and you basically landed what were 2 of the better DTs in the league in the years to follow plus a solid LB.

That's the only class I was drastically move up.  Rest would be nitpicky.
