That was the past time to move forward hoping the new staff does better then previous regimes. No matter what we need more impact players do a trade should and seems like our number one priority.

I agree completely about needing more impact players but based on what Dan Morgan did in the 2nd round last year trading up for not just a luxury position but an already injured player in his first draft his judgment is a concern until proven otherwise. Hopefully he learned something we'll see.

You want to know who to pick? And this is easy, you take Tyler Warren first, Kenneth Grant second, Josiah Stewart third, Xavier Restrepo fourth, maybe Cam Skattebo 5th...

Man, it's NOT HARD. At all.

I’d love if we somehow ended up with Grant

when you are not drafting BPA then sure it makes perfect sense to trade down.especiqlly when you take in consideration the fact that this particular draft class has an over abundance talented  of edge rushers

now if the Panthers were seriously considering taking BPA at #8 I would be more inclined to stay put

Well, I think the issue with this draft os the gap between pick 8 to pick 32 is almost nonexistent at a lot of the premier positions.

So, sticking around at 8 doesn't have a ton of value, IMO.

They should just take him if that's who they want.

I don’t think they’re that in love with him. Gun to my head I think they’d still prefer Jalon over Mykel. But I think they’d prefer Mykel and some extra assets over just Jalon.

As long as it's not a bargain

I think a lot of teams want to trade down and it's going to be a buyer's market. We won't get what we normally would have in past years, unless we manage to catch someone desperate like Dallas. But then again, Dallas may have other suitors even before us.

We should hopefully be planning on making that pick at 8 because if there is a lot of trade traffic before us, then some very interesting players may fall out in the mad dash.

Trading for the sake of trading is stupid. Calmly waiting and keenly observing what is really going on around you is wise.

So yeah, there's a chance we trade the 8 pick for the number 117 pick, three flat footballs and five cases of nacho cheese sauce for the concession stand.
