Will teams avoid drafting Jake Locker if CBA is not settled?

Locker was drafted by the Angels to play baseball. Should there be a lockout, he could switch to baseball, and then who knows what would happen.

Would you use a draft pick on a two sport athlete in this situation?

Maybe in the 3rd or so, he'll probably drop at least a round with no CBA (assuming all teams in the hunt for a QB are cognizant of the baseball offer).

I would be hesitant to draft Locker regardless of baseball.

Yea, but I think if the baseball thing/cba wasn't an issue, SOME team would pull the trigger in the second based on his athletic ability and the flashes he's shown in the past.

His completion percentage is a bigger worry than his ability to play baseball.

But no, I don't think a team that likes him would bypass him for that reason.

The last highly touted Pac-10 two-sport QB/Baseball star turned out to be pretty good... referring to John Elway. I am not 100% on the Locker train by any means, but he is an interesting prospect if he slides late into the second round or is available when we pick in the 3rd (if we didn't already draft Newton).

He will prob slide to the 3rd IMO. He has gone from bad to worse. I dont expect a great combine either.
