Question for the health food folks

Good to know.

We're trying to come up with more meals that we can eat as a family since my son is now able to eat anything we do.

We eat a lot of spicy food so that's our biggest problem. We have the old standbys like rosemary chicken/greek chicken w/veggies etc and homemade chicken pot pie etc (we try to limit the amount of red meat if possible)

I have no idea, probably about average though.

I have a fiber bar and water for breakfast, usually leftovers for lunch, and dinners are usually an old standby like greek chicken or a casserole of some sort, usually chicken based.

Although my pregnant wifes favorite meal is Grilled cheese lol

I try to control my hunger so I don't over eat when it comes time for a meal.

Breakfast - some high fiber granola cereal with fresh blueberries and coffee

mid morning - greek yogurt with fruit (chobani)

Lunch - wildcard

Mid afternoon - 1.5 ounces of wasabi peas

dinner - something easy, simple, and tasty

trying to cut pastas and cheese out but I love them so much

keep things simple and try not to micromanage what you eat.

breakfast is key- get a good start protien(eggs). keeps you feeling full. maybe a good breakfast burrito with a dab of salsa for your lycopene.

lunch-lean proteins and fruit

dinner-similar to lunch along with something colorful

rules of thumbs- daily eat leafy greens and some fruits. watch sugar and sodium intake just as much as you do fat and calories

try to find juices with as low sugar as you can find.

drink a low sodium V8 daily(as a man and you getting older, this comes in handy)

just because something is organic or supposedly healthy for you, you can still eat too much of it. portions my man portions
