You are correct. I have plenty of food (mostly canned) stored right now to last about a year for three people. Depending on the severity "plan C" will be based on foraging what is available (abandoned houses / stores) plus their is always rats, bugs, or yes even squirrels that make for food if need be...lol

They stopped selling them in pill form, it's all powder now, and dosing is almost impossible. And they tasted horrible, because there were no coatings or buffers.

What are yall going to do when your food runs out?

If you plan ahead correctly, food will never run out (barring catastrophic natural disaster, of course)...

I'm building a greenhouse this spring, and I'll also be doing some indoor and deck gardening...

As for protein, I have access to a well stocked pond... and I can hunt too... Once all that is used up, I'll likely have to turn to insects, worms, and other not-so-delectable sources of protien... trading is also an option, as well as the frowned upon "raiding"...

If it gets so bad that you can't hunt or fish, chances are you won't want to stick around anyways, and if you do, there is always the last resort of cannibalism...

I keep two AR-15's with at least 1,000 rounds of ammo.

2 .40cal pistols.

1 .357 Magnum pistol.

2 .22 rifles

4 12 ga. shotguns

I don't really need to worry about storing food if the poo gets that bad.

can't eat guns or bullets, and chances are that anyone with a valid food storage is going to have those too to protect their own... ;)

If u were starving and your daughter was starving and the only option was to get food from a neighbor that would kill you where u stood what would u do beans?

This is if you havent stored 5 mil gallons of beans in your closet.

Let me put it this way if you came onto the place I have you wouldnt make it to far. I have one of the best get away spots in the world. Only problem I have right now it is 300 miles away.

Yeah Salty... I already touched on that... Desperate situations call for desperate measures, but if you are prepared, you are less likely to be desperate...

... and if you aren't prepared, then don't expect sympathy or submission from those who are...
