Myspace is/was for slutty pics. Facebook is more for your family and friends.

My mom deleted me off my little sisters profile for having a poopy mouth on someones post. Gotta keep it rated G on FB IMO...but I have a hard time doing that.

You can also regulate what your family and friends see. I saw that conversation and was REALLY contemplating stirring the pot, but I bit my tongue.

This crazy bitch from work friended me and I allow everyone else to be my friend but she is one that will narc you out/throw you under the bus at any chance she gets.

So, I allow her to be my friend so I don't hear constant bitching and I know if I denied it she would intentionally fug me over every chance she got. But, she is blocked on everything. Cant see pics, cant see status update, cant see poo. As far as she is concerned it just sits there and does nothing.

I feel like this conversation with KD is like when I tried to explain email to my late grandfather.

Grandfather? My mom is in her mid-50s and still can't get it. I work with dentists in their 30's and they can't seem to understand how to open excel, fill in the cells, and save them. Its just SOOOOO difficult. How is it that you are only 10 years older than me and yet you don't know how to use a computer?

Mom still calls me every time she needs to attach a picture to an email. Had to write it down for her step by step so she would stop calling me.

No, you just need to be aware of settings and know that you need to change them if you don't want people seeing them

They do have the right, however, to take your information and use it for ads targeted towards your friends. Like, if you "liked" Coca-Cola, it would create an ad saying Try Coca Cola, boo likes it!

I think you can opt out of that, too.
