I go to Louisville every year but don't really leave the hotel. In the 90's I was there on business all the time and there are some OK spots but overall it's nothing compared to Charlotte.

Yeah Louisville of the 80' early 90's was bigger than Charlotte. Charlotte didnt over take them til late 90's. Been to Louisville a couple of time nice city.

Well actually I was comparing the two at the time since I went there like once a month. Louisville has some cool things, but you have to live in a state where building Noahs Ark to "teach" is something that's taken seriously.

All that aside Louisville is 20x better than Spartanburg which I have to go to tommorow :-(

Louisville looks much better than Charlotte imo. Charlotte really needs a waterfront. Even a fake moat around the city would improve its appearance.

No kidding. I saw more crime in one year in Charlotte than I did in 20 years living in the Louisville area.
