Anyone recommend an air compressor?

I'm looking for a light duty, general purpose air compressor. The most immediate use is for a finish nailer and brad nailer but I will eventually add more tools - orbital sander, spray gun, impact wrench, etc. It's not exactly an 'essential' thing so I can't justify spending too much, but I want something that's quality and will last, and I certainly don't need something fit for a nascar pit.

My price range is roughly $200-$350. Anyone got suggestions?

I have a 2 gal Craftsmen from Sears and love it. Be sure you do your research because you will need alot of pressure when powering the orbital sander, spray gun, impact wrench, and they tend to cost a good bit of $$$

It all depends on what your demand will be. I got one of the twin tank Rigid's, can handle 2x framing nailer or 4x roofing nailguns, I think it was $260 when I got it. But thats because I was building a detached garage at my house and renovating the existing. If you only need it for trim work, then you can find 'specials' at Home Depot with a compressor and a nailgun combo. Is there a Harbor Freight near you? Killer deals for homeowners who wont be relying on their tools for work. You cant beat their prices.. But absolutely do a little checking around, a little research will save some duckets...
