I think that's still up in the air, contracts won't get done until there is a new CBA anyways, so they could retro-actively apply it to this draft class if it's passed.

Which is why the Panthers can't worry about any of that when they're deciding who to draft. People (not you in particular) keep talking about this as if it's something they will have take in to consideration, but really they just have to pick the best football player and worry about the details later.

We can forget about drafting a QB next year. Luck will not make it out of the top 5 and I would doubt we will be in the top 10.

If there isn't a rookie scale and we draft a QB, I don't even want to think about what we would be paying him based on Bradford's deal last year, LOL

Really until the CBA is signed we want pay anyone. So Bradford will be the last of the high paid QBs. I could see Hurney now... Ok take 40mill or wait till next year and get less. Makes no difference to us.

No, but I just know that Matt will lead us to the Super Bowl next season. He's the guy the team is building around. And why wouldn't you, what with his winning career record, attractive physique and good personality? Plus his family never paid anyone (obviously, they didn't need to, have you ever seen him play? It's better than seeing Hendrix at his best at a concert) and honestly I'd rather have Matt than Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Joe Montana (a poor man's Moore), Dan Marino, and actually, God Himself. I pray to Matt Moore every night.
