QB is the biggest need. Cam is far and away the most talented QB in the draft imo. Should be an interesting draft for us.

Most gifted athlete, has proven very little at QB.

Unlike Gabbert, who has. . .erm. . .uhh. . .uhm. . .looked like Jimmy Clausen's brother.

I wasn't very high on Clausen when we picked him last draft, due mostly to his small hand size, and height. If you want to go back and look at my old Clausen posts last summer, you'll see that I'm not high on every QB.

Cam has what Clausen lacked, and the strength to back it up. The only question that remains is can he handle the NFL from a mental perspective? The hard work, reading defenses, making quick reads, ect. Who knows? But my god he's got a laser cannon arm.

Sounds like a bluff to me. He didn't mention a specific position, but gave just enough info to put doubt in peoples heads. To me, it basically means "We have positions of need and I will use the pick to fill one of them." It's just GM/Coach speak.

I'm going to start calling our new coach Ron "The Lieutenant" Rivera. He reminds me very much of an infantry platoon leader.

I'd go with Gunny, for two reasons:

1. Signifies the best, toughest and most disciplined with a title only Marines carry.

2. Blue collar guy doesn't fit the officer profile to me, seems more like a staff NCO.
