If it were me I would do name your own price on priceline and pick "5 star north strip." That's what i have done the last 2 times and gotten great deals

that is probably the best idea. nowadays the hotels are all over priceline due to the economy.

Wynn and Encore on priceline. In between stayed at bellagio.

The first time we got wynn for $59 a night (!!) but Encore last summer was like $139 which wasn't that much better than the specials advertised at the time.

You have to put your CC info in ahead of time and they don't tell you which hotel you get. But from what I understand ***** North Strip are all the good ones.

What you do is bid like $69. Priceline will tell you your bid has been denied but the price you can get is $XXX. And if you don't like it you can just say no and no charges will be made.

At least that has been my experience...

I'm going to Vegas March 14-16 for my company's annual conference and we're staying at the Cosmopolitan, which is a brand new hotel out there that absolutely OWNS all of the previously mentioned hotels in this thread... however, rooms are $500/night

Encore is awesome.

It honestly depends on how much you plan on being in the room.

If you are going to "relax" there all day and night then get a nice one. If you are going to enjoy Vegas, get whatever you can afford and save money for the fun stuff.
