Teamwork...what a novel concept.

Tell me about it. There are good players in COD and Battlefield but the selfish morons outnumber them by a good bit. With this game you can still be a selfish moron and just snipe all game, but you're not going to get any of the good poo. Another good thing about Battlepoints is you're not going to have a bunch of chopper/tank whores waiting around for a vehicle. You want a vehicle? Earn enough points and buy one. Great concept. I don't know if it's been implemented in other games (I haven't played one like this), but this is the way it should be.

I'll admit that this game has caught my attention. However, I'm still looking forward to purchasing FIFA11, and the Tiger drops at the end of March. Those two games should be able to hold me over to NCAA12 (fave game of all time) and ME3.

This isn't a bad game. I've had a lot of fun playing online. The graphics aren't as good as I'd like to see, but it's not a big deal to me. COD Black Op's looks a lot better, I think. So if you want a great looking game, I'd pass. If you want a game similar in gameplay to COD, I'd pass. You might want to rent it first.

I'm digging the way they have the perks set up. You start off with 4 points and you can allocate them however you want. Perks cost different amounts. For example 'tactical reload' (quicker reload speed) costs 1 point. 'Straight from the hip' costs 3 points...etc. So if you want to you can start off with 4 one point perks, or a three point perk and a one point perk, etc. At level 25 you get another point.

The best thing about this game is the Battlepoints system. There are no killstreaks. So the poo that happens in COD won't likely happen as much in this game...i.e. a guy camping in the room to get his killstreaks. You are pretty much enticed into helping your team out...doing things like taking objectives, etc.

That's enticing.

Yeah, it's nice. I've read a couple of reviews that complain about Homefront not doing anything new...well this Battlepoints system is new to me and it's certainly a refreshing way to play. If this game had destructive environments and squad based gameplay, it would be fuging great. But as it is, it's fun and that's what matters in the end.

Game feels new to me, honestly. Once they get their server issues straightened and party joining it'll be good times.

The drones are annoying, played a few games where the only thing 2-3 people were doing was "marking" me over and over lol.

I almost went and bought this yesterday, but figured BFBC2 still keeps me entertained and could just wait for BF3, or pull out COD if i got bored. I still might wait, but the concept is interesting.

Truth be told, i dont play games much at all anyway.

Is still very new to me. COD is basically the only FPS I've ever played, other than some Ghost Recon games on the PC.

ALL of the vehicles get annoying. I haven't really used them all that much yet because I'm trying to unlock the stuff for my guns. Also, the 32 people on the same map takes some getting used to, it gets fuging hectic.

Game is like $42 on amazon/wal-mart right now btw....

They are working on getting more servers up, etc. I read it sold about 350k on first day (that's not including pre-orders so probably well above 500k) so I'm not sure why the price drop so quick.

Got a couple pretty solid games in today. Couple of them I had over 20 kills, which I was proud of. I'm digging the sniping in this game as well.

Tried to get on Black Ops today and it was a totally different game.

either I just suck at FPS games or the single player is hard.

I've died like 200 times and just got past the helicopter escort mission....

This game will be a lot of fun once they lag/server issues are fixed. There's like 2-3 people in each room that have good pings but the rest are terrible and the ones with green pings are dominating.

Servers are MUCH MUCH better today for me. Got some good games in. Still leaning what guns work best for me etc, have some good games, some mediocre, and sometimes a bad game here and there, game is fun though, I think I'll get my money out of it. They are working hard on getting things fixed and have updated the community pretty quick.

This game is good, I hope people give it a chance.
