Lakers lose to Cavs

did anyone see Gasol get posterized in that game? lol

Lakers are pathetic right now. At first I thought "well it's just the regular season, doesn't matter for the Lakers" but dang. Gasol is playing like a bitch.. Artest is playing awful and doesn't seem to give a damn about basketball(he immediately started promoting his newest mixtape after tonights game)... Bynum is straight up horrible, and Kobe continues to try too hard to put the team on his back.

think they make a serious push for Melo after this loss?

I love how Kobe never gets the blame if they lose. He goes 8-24 against Cleveland with 7 turnovers and it's "because he is trying too hard". Gasol put up 30 points and 20 boards last night, and he is playing like a bitch?

I don't see this team getting Carmelo. They have hardly any players that Denver could possibly want, compared to the other suitors.

LA is in trouble.

The Lakers go through funks like this every year almost. They will be in the playoffs and we'll see what happens when the lights get brighter on them. I will say I'm worried about them having to face the Thunder though....

no no no....fug you!

I'm sure all this talk about this guy getting traded and that guy going is a distraction and at the end of the day, losing to the Cavs really is meaningless, but on the other hand, these guys are all over paid professionals and should be able to play through it. Disappointing, but certainly not the end of the world either. Let's talk when the real season starts.

I'm not judging off of one game. If you've been watching Lakers games recently, you'd see that Gasol is playing like a bitch..

oh, and I never said it wasn't Kobe's fault. it was, because he kept forcing shots when it clearly wasn't working. you can't blame him though, none of his teammates could make a shot either. the entire team is struggling right now.

To the Laker fans saying "its just regular season", we'll see how long you're saying that when your team doesnt have homecourt advantage against the Spurs, C's, Heat, & Bulls in the playoffs. Losses like these will kick in you in the ass later down the road. Without homecourt advantage LAST YEAR, the Lakers would not have won the title. Thats the main reason they got by Boston.

I think homecourt advantage was out a long time ago for them. If they don't make a change or their players don't wake up it wouldn't surprise me to see them knocked out in the first round.

Yeah that's what I originally intended to type.

If the Lake has to face the Thunder, with now significant roster improvement/play.

They will not win. :(

    • Him and Sanders are the only QBs I would consider in the first round. I won’t be upset if we take Sanders, unlike some people on the board. Both have potential to be really good NFL QBs if the teams can develop them.  But as we have seen teams are not willing or are unable to now properly develop rookie QBs.
    • I remember the last time we had a Cam at QB in Charlotte
    • Because Young is so historically bad that it just skews too far outside the normal deviations that perspective is easily lost. That or they just don't want to believe it.  The struggles last year would have been more about the infighting and poor roster building or idiot owner's hiring practices than with Stroud. He wouldn't have been as good but he wouldn't have been ruined here and the pressure was not Carr-esk if you take out the Young created portion from his playing style.  Dude is a young guy on a team coached by a Defensive guy building a good D but not building up the O in year 2 of his HC 1st time gig. Seems familiar... Go look at his output this year and not just some crappy Thursday night implosion game, I would take that in a second and never ever look back every time without a shred of doubt while eating 4 of those games a year with a giant smile on my face.
