I just do not understand the hatred towards Peppers now.......The guy never asked to be traded, he was never a cancer in the locker room, and from my understanding he was a good team mate. The guy fulfilled what was asked of him, and now he wants to explore other options, other cities, expand his talent, try another challenge, etc. Peppers by far is my favorite player in the league for obvious reasons. I plan on cheering for him no matter where he goes, hopefully nowhere in the NFC. The funny part is all these people that are saying he is lazy are probably overweight coach junkies that get winded while walking to the fridge. I know he trains and works harder at his job then I do, and probably most of the people on here

Look, like I said (reading comp is not a skill many have here it seems) he lost points when him and his agent pretty much screwed us in the Gross leverage department by coming out early, that's where it changed. I'm fine with saying good riddance but to tell people they shouldn't be upset about the situation is not right. I don't wish the guy injuries, but I won't cry if he under performs like Kearse after leaving us. And yes, if we somehow pull a miracle and keep him I'll be happy, even with taking plays off, cause he still has the ability.

Wow some noob drops a fail. You sir, are a moron. I'm just saying, the fans DO have a right to be angry, regardless of how much of a homer you want to be. And no, people have noticed him taking plays off for many years now, they just let it slide more a year or two of those because everyone thought he had some mystery illness hampering him. You don't honestly expect fans to be complacent about losing a franchise player, do you? Especially when he was offered a gigantic contract to stay? Piss off.

Aww man you called me a noob. :frown5: So whats makes me a homer? The fact that I'm not trashing someone who wants to leave? Who played his seven years here and made plenty of plays for us. Yet you call me a moron, noob and a homer. I will take the high road on this one. Peace. :patriot:

Nothing wrong with my reading comprehension, I understand just fine. You are insulting people who disagree with you and were it not for the name calling you did on Southkakalac I wouldn't have even said anything. But then you go insinuating that I am too stupid to understand what you wrote. That's cool, I can live with it, it's just a message board after all.

Your basis is that by coming out early, Peppers screwed the fans by making the Gross negotiations more difficult. I conclude that his coming out early was actually helpful because he didn't blindside the Panthers at the last second and gave them time to complete their negotiations / plan for the future. Gross was already difficult enough due to offensive line play this season, it didn't need the help and I don't think it got any from Peppers.

See, there usually are two sides to every issue, believe it or not...
