Don Shula is old enough to be MY Dad, and I'm older than dirt. Having said that anyone can screw up. Examples...

1. Shortlly after we were awarded the franchise in 1993 Charlie Steiner of ESPN referred to us as the " Charlotte Cougars".

2. The NFL wanted the Panthers (orginally) to be named The Cobras or Rhinos, and sport the colors of Purple and Gold.... no poo. ( I know this example is a bit OT but to me that's a MAJOR screw-up).
