Just got off the phone with the shop - really nice guy. They're gunna send me the check for the full amount I requested. I was really surprised, but they did everything to make the situation right.

GL... that is what the company in NY told me several times before I had to take it up with the bank... As they kept coming up with various excuses, I gave them months just sitting there on $500 I was out for nothing, and then it took Visa hassling them to get it back...

Honestly, if you can't get it done easily I wouldn't even worry about it. You will end up spending more money by merely wasting your time pursuing it.

If its U-haul go in the local store and cause a scene. Just be sure not to take it too far or the cops will get called. Just be sure other people are in the store to show you got F*cked. This works if you can handle it right.

Good for you, sometimes people over react when simple civil communication and understanding will do the job and usually is the quickest way. If that doesn't work, then pursue other options. :thumbsup:
