Also on losing their ass the first year yea you're right they did. They took a 200 dollar loss on every PS3 sold. If you knew anything at all about console gaming you would know every console released the company will take a loss on it until they get the price of technology down. M$ also took a loss their first year on the Xbox 360 and if trends continue when they release the next gen Xbox they will take losses for the first year of that.

I'm on a iPhone ATM, I can't go to where the articles are and pull them up because I get pushed to the mobile site, you want to see them bad enough go to gamespot.com and search MGS4 to xbox or something to that effect and it should pop up.

As far as loosing money goes yeah that's fine as long as you have the software sales to compensate for loss on hardware MS gaming division was losing money on the xbox 1 until the year before the 360 released. But the PS3 in it's early stages wasn't even getting close to parody.

So you take what a bunch of Xbox fanboys post on Gamespot for fact. MGS4 was never in danger of moving to the Xbox exclusively. The only thing in doubt was whether it would be PS3 exclusive. That is until Hideo Kojima came out and said point blank this game couldn't be done in it's current state on the 360 and without the storage medium of blu ray discs....

Go along Xbot.....the PS3 wouldn't have ever folded and for you to suggest so is asinine. It shows how little you know about gaming. Sony above all is about first party AAA titles which they have put out plenty for the PS3. I own all three consoles and BY FAR the PS3 has the best exclusives and it's really not even close.....

Exactly, this is why you want to play on xbox live, yeah you may have to pay for service but we actually have players.

I'd rather pay for each account.

Man I have 4 accounts on my PS3. No accountability in who I troll at all... Not like they can kick me off.

Yeah.. who knows what the game would have been like without 11,000 hours of video.

sweet, instead of a new PC, I'll just get a 2 TB HDD.

No but storage allows you to increase the content on the game. Also MGS4 requires installing to the HDD so Xbox owners without an HDD would have been fuged....
