Went and picked up some Chimchangas and Sopes from her favorite Mexican joint. Had a XX in a frosty mug and 2 shots of some terrific Tequila while I waited... The kids werent going to bed so I didnt get lucky last night... So I snuck in her shower this AM...

I did flank steaks that were marinated in Olive Oil, Garlic, Parsley, Cilantro and a splash of OJ.

I made two types of chimichurri. One traditional with a hint of honey and a roasted red pepper.

THe sides were roasted new potatoes with rosemary, oo, and sea salt. Asparagus with s&p and oo and lemon juice squeezed over when they come out of the oven. I also roasted whole cloves of garlic in the oven to spread on bread. For dessert a pound cake with homemade blueberry compote.
