Will our FAs want to be a part of JRs org?

Build a time machine and ask Drew Brees if that mattered to him with his decision to sign with the Saints.

I'm sorry, apparently we are going to need steel doors to keep all the FA at bay, people want to play for Rivera who has not done a single thing yet. While we are at it, why don't we see if anyone else offered him 6 years 60 million.

Exactly.......this place is full of the most pessimistic, gloom and doom bullsh1t I've ever seen.

I'm optimistic about our new coach as the next guy, but I'm going to wait till he proves something before I say FA's are going to come here because of him, and assume that he will fix every problem that this team has.

We could have hired almost any reasonable candidate, and people here would act like we have some legend.

You just blew up your own argument saying money means more to free agents than who the owner is.

My argument is mostly no one is going to come here for a coach, especially one who isn't even proven. $$$ is absolutely almost always the number 1 factor and anyone would be stupid to think otherwise.

It's the Ron Rivera pimping that irks me. People did the same thing with Davidson. That fact that Ron Rivera is the coach of the Panthers, won't give a second thought to 99% of the FA. I sincerely doubt they could care less.

At some point, the owner might be a factor - but like others have pointed out you've never heard a current or former Panther have anything bad to say about JR... and I think the coaching staff and players already on the roster play a much bigger factor in the decision.

The truth is, we plan to build through the draft anyways - so we're not talking about having to lure big-time FA's because we don't plan to do that anyways.
