Women/homosexuals/liberals had felt left out for years while sitting back and watching sporting venues have their culmination of their year's work shown in one big ending event. This is their Super Bowl, their Stanley Cup playoffs, their World Series.

Good for them, many people enjoy the shows, the artists get more exposure and make more money, the networks sell ads....like I said, everyone's a winner.

I love movies but I wouldn't dream of watching an awards show.

awards shows are fine with me. some folks there are as deep as a cup of water and need postive affirmation every nano second.

others are comfortable in their skin and know who to thank and move on.

btw- that cee lo bit was freakishly creepy. i mean serial killer creepy. even paltrow took it to a silence of the lambs level. weird
