JR condescending to Peyton Manning during CBA meeting?

I believe things pretty much happened the way Jay said it did for the simple fact JR had that exact same attitude during his press conference earlier this year.... Basically this is my chart, this is the money, if you don't understand that then you are stupid. That's what I got from his press conference, so it would not surprise me at all to hear JR responded that way towards both Brees, and Manning.... His actions the pass year gives me no reason to doubt anypart of that statement Jay made.

It's been reported in multiple media outlets this past year what JR is concentrating on, and his attitude towards the players/lockout. I don't think all of tghe media, these other players and insiders would all pick JR of all the owners to lie and pick on.

Though I may side with the owners, I personally do not agree with JR and his tactics... as I do not believe that type of negotiating and stubburness are gonna get us anywhere close to a new CBA.

Many do not want to believe that JRs focus is for at least some lockout to get the best deal. If both sides agreed tomorrow i think they would want to put it past the March 4th date to see what else they could get.

Like Feely said its not about getting the CBA done..its about not bickering between owners to solve their revenue woes within the ranks(real reason no books are being opened). They will just take it from the players like local government!

also..JR being the face of the enemy..it will be a damn factor for some players in free agency. As Jerry draws and colors in the corner calling everyone son.......Mr. Hardees is talking down to you boy!

sure sure.

Maybe you could go play outside while the grownups try to have a conversation?

HAHA Owned!

LOL I like reading what monstercat writes... It's like when I was in college laughing at people who really thinks they are smart and are making good points but everything that comes out is full of fail!!

The funny part is they really honestly believe they know what they are talking about. It's just hilarious watching them try...

So keep going bro... You really keep the huddle a funny place... You not-awsomeness... and some others. This place would be boring without people like you to laugh at.

Are you sure you went to college? Even a dumbass like me knows that it's "people think" and not "people thinks".

Anyway, I should have never let myself get sucked in to this argument in the first place. All I did was state that the owners have a point, and the next thing I knew, some asshole was hammering me with insulting remarks.

Like I said before, I don't even really care what JR said or why he said it. I just like to hear both sides of a story before I make up my mind, which is pretty damn reasonable, IMO.

Well gee. I'm sure free agents will just be FLOCKING to Charlotte now after word gets out that not only is our owner old and with a diminished mental capacity after surgery, but now he's openly mocking other players in a condescending manner. I know if I was a free agent, I would just LOVE to play for a guy like that!

JR is an old classy boss type. I don't really care what JR says to Brees because he's a candyass Saint's player, plus Peyton Manning is probably an ass outside of his public image. He's going to be condescending and he's going to stick to his ways that's how an old southern business man is like. My dad is of somewhat the same nature. JR will take care of his own though, the whole locker room has respect for the man.

Peyton Manning just signed a 100 million dollar deal what the fug does he have to bitch about. The players don't need 50% and the owners don't need the money they make either, fuging donate that sh1t. It's all a mess, bunch of greed.

Guys, I really would take everything coming from a NFLPA representative with a grain of salt. Sure the things were likely said, but you have absolutely no way to tell what was said before that prompted the statement.

You do realise that Manning and Brees probably don't actually know how to read the revenue chart...

The NFLPA are very clever at releasing the information that they want you to hear, however Feely also stumbled onto something by mistake. When pressed about why they need the books open, the interviewer actually asked him at what percentage the players would actually be happy. Feely then went on to point the only public company, the Packers, were in fact progressively losing money over the last two years DESPITE the revenue going up universally for the NFL. This includes two very productive seasons and one of the most devote fan bases. Sure they are a small market, but they have a heck of support from there, yet they had their profits halve last season.

Very true...

Player perceptions of our owner does matter, because they will be the one we want to convince to come play for JR.

Right now I'm sure more than a few players have a negative perception of JR...more so than the other owners. So while some of you feel that the perception is undeserved, it is reality around the NFL and their fans.

True players should not take business personal, but some of them just might do that.

It wouldn't surprise me if OUR free agents don't want to re-sign with us. Like CJ and Kalil and go play for Fox. :mad5:

Thank you. The picture sometimes looks a little different when more and more facts come out. That's all I was trying to say before.

JR is not stupid, and he's definitely not alone as a small market owner.

Okay, so What was said before.... Do you remember what was said before JR went off on his pie chart rant during his press conference?

Manning and Brees Can't read a revenue chart... First I don't think they are clueless individuals, also JR wanted everyone to understand his little pie chart during his press conference... so what does that say?

Also that was not a released statement... it was him simply talking about one comment the players felt was inappropriate for negotiations... I did not hear him singling out the other owners, and comments they made... just JR.

Like I said before, I believe that is how it went down for the simple fact of JR's recent pattern of behavior.

I bet what JR say to Manning & Brees is true based on his bossy attitude at that lame pie chart press conference last month. It clear he is becoming a mean old fart & we're losing respect for him with that kind of unacceptable behavior lately. Maybe it a good thing Fox is gone, because who want to coach a team run by a old man with a new heart that is starting to becoming like Al Davis? Did JR really got his new heart from one of Davis's two hearts???
