lol talk about speaking with emotion and not logic

whatever, they can insult JR all the want. doesn't change the fact the Panthers have been in the upper half of NFL teams since coming into the league. one terrible season certainly doesn't define a franchise.

We've had more than one horrible season. I'd say we are right in the middle. Had some real highs and some real lows.

we've never been one of those "always bad" teams like the Lions, Rams, etc. sure, as fans a 7-9 season is terrible, but compared to teams that win 2-5 games on a regular basis it's not bad.

I'd agree we're somewhere in the middle. sucks that this is a "what have you done for me lately" league. people forgetting the panthers have been to multiple NFC Championship games and a Super Bowl within the last decade. hell, two seasons ago we they were the #2 seed...

We've also had 2 seasons where we combined for 3 wins. I love me some Panthers but I cannot turn a blind eye to facts.

I only agree with Colin about half the time, if even that. I just want to see a normal season in 2011, with all that money on the table, and the economy in the tank, owner's and player's should both be willing to find a way to get a deal done. A lockout now could be tough for the NFL. It's the money of the middle class that buy's ticket's, gear, and beer. And in the case of the Panthers, PSL's. Most of the player's second contract's are worth more than most people will ever see in 2 lifetime's. It's easy to get angry when you see all that money and people fighting over a couple HUNDRED MILLION DOLLAR'S. I'd like to see some of them live on $40,000 a year. well last year I lost $8000 in salary, so $32,000.

The Colts have had two seasons with 3 wins(each) since the Panthers entered the league. That's a fact.

Every team in the NFL has had terrible seasons. This is a "what have you done for me lately" league so people forget that.

Not to mention the fact that it's been 10 years since that 1-15 season and the Panthers came back from it pretty quickly.

Steelers sucked before the super bowl era, Patriots sucked before the uggs model too the helm, Colts sucked before Manning (and they know they will suck after Manning)

while

The 49ers used to dominate everyone, the Raiders were great, and Washington was the jewel of the NFC East.

Yet no one thinks or seems to remember that the league turns over every decade and a half. We might be the Colts now in the 2020's who knows but people do have short memories.

Sorry for the rant, I agree it full is a what have you done for me lately league. Would you be seeing these "worst franchise ever" comments back in 2008, ummm no.

You guys are on acid

The Panthers are 119-137 since 1995 with 4 winning seasons

The Colts are 170-102 with 12 winning seasons

The panthers are not in the top half of the league

you just took one of the most successful franchises in the league recently and compared it to a team who started from scratch in 1995.

they may not be in the upper half, but they're somewhere in the middle.

You brought up the Colts not me.

Panthers are a below average franchise with a couple bright spots

    • We can't afford to reach for one of the first round QBs this year. I would love for nothing more than Bryce to be the reason we don't even scout the bastards
