Cam Newton Workout Phenomenal

Ik that was what was reported, I just found it interesting that he was also accussed with academic misconduct while at UF.

There's no way to know for sure because there's nothing concrete that said yes he did cheat but I have read more articles that said he did then the other way around....

thats the key. BOUGHT.

Tell me.....if Cam didn't know the laptop was stolen why would he toss the thing out the window when the police came to his dorm. It makes him just as guilty that he bought the laptop knowing it was stolen. As for him as a prospect, I have no problem with the Panthers taking Cam if they feel he's the best pick and he has truly improved that much......

All I am saying is, Cam's dad likely got a payday off his son, invetigation pending. I am not discrediting what Cam did on the field, cause he did perform. NCAA needs to fix this BS that keeps coming up. On the other side just like Bradford’s media day workout to show his shoulder was fine, that is all this is. To showcase Cam and what he has been working on to bolster his so called worth in the draft. ESPN wants to jump all over it to keep people like Kiper relevant. That is all my post said nothing more nothing less. Don't think it means that much, watch the game film and the combine and see what you think. Not buying he is the best player just because ESPN likes a private workout.

how about we talk about the fuging workout and/or if we are going to draft him instead of about him stealing laptops and his father.

Good idea. But some folks have agendas to carry out. Lets talk about how much a "thug" Cam is. Lets act scared that he might steal from us. Lets treat his dad like a Reverend Wright character! That will make Andrew Luck seem and look better! Genius!

"I felt like I had to come out here and get better. As a whole, one of the things George and I had been working on since I stepped in San Diego is me being on balance, me finishing my throws. Of course, me coming out of a spread offense, there was a concern about me coming from under center, and being fluid."

There's a difference in saying "He likely got a pay off", and saying "He got paid". You should make less assertive comments.

Again, I don't give a damn who got paid in college to play.

The man is part of the football player, you cant separate the two. Rae Carruth was a pretty good football player....

How many here remember Ron Rivera and Marty Hurney recently talking about the fact that they don't put much stock in workouts because they don't represent actual game conditions?

Doubt this changes anything as far as the Panthers plans, though I won't be surprised to see them take part in the hype train. Maybe if it gets going full steam, we can get a decent offer to trade down.

This is a good thing for us.

i'm sure the panthers would be ecstatic to have newton become a sensation and the apple of every other team's eye. can only help the possible trade market, or even PR should the panthers elect to choose him at #1.

Bingo! the main thing we need is for several teams to have him #1 on their boards and offer up a nice fat trade offer for him!
