If your concerns about Newton are that he could be another Jamarcus Russell (Dumb, no motivation, not a leader) then you pretty much are concerned about it only because he's black. Because I don't think anyone questioned Luck's intangibles in those areas, knowing no more about him than they do about Cam.

Cam IMO Def is worth the risk. He is very intelligent(you can tell when he speaks, he's not an idiot) He has a big time swagger, leadership qualities and a determination to win. You can't coach that. You CAN coach footwork, reading D's etc. I see him winning 2 or 3 games just on his shear potential alone.

My other pick would be AJ GREEN - Beast!!! We need offense.

To add: I would pick up Volek, sit CAM as #2. Let JC and TP battle for #3.

They likely will. I would be surprised if he wasn't one of the players they were looking at. QB is too big a need for them not to look at all the QB prospects. But they are also still evaluating Clausen, and this team has a number of needs, so I'm not sold we'll go QB.
