No doubt. That poo is absurd.

I think the nail's been hit on the head already in this thread. They created too much content, too soon.

Example:

I've got GH3, World Tour, Metallica, and Smash Hits.

I played through GH3 on Hard several times and got most of the unlockable content. I finished World Tour once on hard.

I've gotten about two sets through Metallica, and I think I've played a handful of songs on Smash Hits.

I noticed they had a Guitar Hero 5 and a "Warriors of Rock" out. I have zero desire to even check them out.

The luster just wore off.

Strange related fact: In 1999, I met a chick online (via Everquest) who went on to become a producer on GHII. Unfortunately, due to long distance bills, and the fact she was sorta in a relationship (I think?), we stopped talking. (Yes, she was hot... still is I believe)
