Have to pick one: America the Beautiful or Star Spangled Banner?

America the Beautiful is a better song, but I like the SSB because of the circumstances involved in its writing.

The British had recently been victorious in a battle at DC. They had burned the Capital and the White House, eaten the president's food and used his linen. They then marched and sailed up to Baltimore in order to "clean out the nest of pirates". But they were stopped cold by the army on land, and by Fort Mchenry in the Baltimore harbor, and by a citizenry that banded together to prepare the city for the coming attack. Its largely forgotten now, but the Star Spangled Banner was part of a pivotal moment in US history.
