So is Tiger woods done or what?

If I had to make odds on Tiger winning one more major I would probably offer 5-1 odds.

Beating Nicklaus probably 100-1 if not more.

I'm not a tiger hater. Tiger making a run at the record would be one of the best sports stories of all time and I support him from a sports standpoint in every tourney.

But he is done.

I'll take that 5-1.

This is a Brit TV feed, otherwise we'd be seeing virtually every shot Tiger hit and we'd have no idea how well Rory is playing.

Thankfully, with this feed, we're seeing a lot of players on the course, unlike CBS or NBC which will show you no more than 5-6 players the entire round except for the occasional great shot made by someone earlier in the day.

None of that is remotely true.

Actually, Happy is right. If Tiger isn't in contention, they don't show him much. And of course they'll follow 3-5 guys ... the leaders. That's the way it's always been done and should be done.

You should sit down and watch a tournament sometime and count strokes shown on TV... I've done it several times and Tiger far and away gets more TV time than anyone besides maybe the leader.

Yeah.

Today was a unique day in that they played threesomes and a shotgun start. I assume this was because of the fear of weather later. I don't think they usually do this on a Saturday at the open.

I have. Not this one, but past tournaments recently. They'll show Tiger here and there, but they stick with the leaders as the main focus. Especially if Phil is leading.

Apparently, you have not read the television rights to the tournament nor do you watch much golf.

But that's okay, just sit back and say, "nuh-uh...", that makes you believable.

We do not get a "brit feed" we get ESPN coverage. What are you getting at?

BBC covers it in the UK.

Do you understand TV ratings and that when Tiger doesn't play viewers drop by 50%?

Networks are giving viewers what they want and golf and pro golfers and the networks that broadcast it make a hellova lot more money because of Tiger.

It does suck at times like they used to suck Brett Favre's bunghole all the time in Prime Time but it brings the casual viewer to the table.

No one wanted to watch Jimmy Claussen.
