I don't think both are on the roster, and the obvious choice is Pike being gone but there is a very slight chance Clausen gets cut.

In no particular order, it comes down to (assuming Pike is gone and Clausen stays):

Clausen, Moore/younger comp, and Vet

Clausen, Moore/younger comp, and Rookie

Clausen, Vet, Rookie

Clausen, Moore/Younger comp X2

Moore/Younger Comp, Vet, Rookie

They talked about JC on the Scott Van Pelt Show today. The Ryan guy liked him and said he deserves another shot but with some different scenery.

There is no reason to change the scenery when he could just stay here and watch everything around him completely change (i.e The coaching staff, and injured stars from last year becoming healthy).

Jimmy Clausen will have an improved season in 2011, due to the new coaching staff, healthy O-Line, healthy RB's, and Wideouts with at least 1 year of experience under their belt. Is he the long term answer? I'm not sure. Could he be a good NFL QB? It's possible. Can you judge that at this point in time? Absolutely not.
