It makes sense to HOPE he will prove people wrong, I just don't think anyone truly believes he WILL turn it around.

With the CBA stuff going on. Can Jimmy work with the QB coach on unofficial terms?? If so. If I was Jimmy I'd be calling Shula up NOW!! Try to get as much work with him as I could.

They can right now and I think he is. A couple of weeks ago he tweeted a pic of some flash cards he was studying for protections and schemes (don't worry he didn't give anything away in the pic).

A LOT OF REASONS?

I'm trying to look for some but saying there are a lot of reasons for hope is using more blinders than anyone.

There is maybe a few but definitely not a lot.

I'd love to see Jimmy turn it around next season, he was put in a bad situation with Fox and his lame duck status, not to mention the rookie's at WR, and a beat up oline. He'll get a fair shot in camp no matter who we pick up in the draft or FA, as he should. He might suprise all of us.

ahh yes, very true, but those people would say that not every rookie QB is Luck.

I don't think we need just any rookie QB to bring in... but if we believe in someone we should bring them in.

Thank you Mav for that. I would say a once in a decade prospect is different from the rest of the QB's in this draft. I also admitted that yes I was on that bandwagon. Now that he is staying in college I feel (JMO) that best thing that can happen for this team is Jimmy improving and becoming a franchise QB so we can fix our other holes over the next few years. Plus him being a 2nd round pick means we would be paying low prices form a franchise QB. But again if Cam can prove his self over the next few weeks and the FO wants him I won't be hurt by that.
