What's wrong with brining in Moore, Volek, Clausen, Pike (or possibly draft pick) and letting them battle it out? Would you be hurt if Moore won? If Volek won? If Newton won? Then why do you get so mad when all we talk about is competition for him? It might be Dalton in the 4th, or Moore, or Tarvaris Jackson, or A Smith, or Volek. The point is you act like you want to give him the job so us "haters" will be wrong about him. There is nothing to be wrong about. He's not good right now and shouldn't be given the job. He probably won't beat out many guys brought in for real competition purposes, even Cyberjag realized that and he's a Clausen supporter.

So i should compare a 6'6 Black QB with a strong arm and running ability too a 6'4 Qb (alex smith) with a weak arm or a 6'3 (david Carr) QB with the same problem and no running ability. Instead of comparing him with 2 QB with the same or close skill set 1 who went 2 the same school????

1st No you said I jumped out their and compared Cam too 2 players with the same skill sets and around the same size instead of 2 other QB who are nothing like him. But I'm wrong?????

Thats not what I said.

But what I did say was KT had a point. And there is nothing wrong with having Jason Campbell or Vince Young as the stater compared to "cant get right" Jimmy, "Not offically on the roster" Moore, and "Who knows?" Pike or random unknown free agent Vet.

But

1st this thread was just saying with all the crap that is said about Jimmy I hope he can prove people wrong. What is wrong with that??? I rather hope with competiton he can improve and be a franchise QB which would be a big gain for this team.

2nd Kt didn't have a point he tried 2 make it seem like comparing Cam too 2 other Black QBs or QBs with the same skill set is wrong and I'm rasict (which I'm a Black american male myself which is why I like the superhero black panther) Instead I should have compared him too 2 white QBs who play nothing like him just too be politically correct. Which I feel is stupid. But too make KT happy I didn't compare him too Warren Moon or the Late air Mcnair (rip brother) because he doesn't play like them either.

Again I rather bring in Vet competition for Jimmy and let them battle it out in TC instead of using the #1 overall pick on another project too be Competition for Jimmy. That's my opinion and I can have that as well.

Jimmy has to change his mindset and his attitude first. If he is the starter next season he needs to have a goal of 25. That's touchdowns + interceptions = at least 25. The way you do this is you go for 25 touchdowns and when you get picked off you don't start throwing the ball out of bounds and checking it down every play.

He needs a coaching staff that wants him to be fearless when the time is right. There's nothing wrong with taking a shot when a game is 0-0 and with a Ron Riviera, it's not like we're gonna be in shootouts, he should have times in games where he can take a shot without hurting the team.

If he comes out in the preseason trying to play it safe I'm going to give up on him that instance.
