Every QB that has started more than 5 games under Fox has a winning record here.......except Jimmy. You gotta do 1 thing....stay in the pocket and get it to Smitty when time to throw. Fox's flawed system will at least allow a QB to survive pending he can handle basics of the offense.

I still think it is funny that people want to use 4-5 quarters of bad play by Moore as solid proof that Clausen was in an unwinnable scenario. Moore just sucked and missed easy shots and made bad throws in a couple quarters. Clausen was simply one of the worst rookie QBs that has seen the field in sometime.

And this is a reason why now I will root for Jimmy. Just the sheer hate for this kid is getting lame.

Also I'm starting 2 agree with Cyber. I don't think if Moore comes back he beats out Jimmy like some of you think is a for gone conclusion.

They both have 2 learn a new system which Jimmy may have a head start because Chud isn't given a playbook 2 Matt Moore before he's signed. Which isn't happening anytime soon. On equal footing I don't know who will learn the playbook and be able 2 excute it faster. Nethier do alot of you other fans.

Moore struggled because teams put 9 men in the box and forced Moore to be a contemporary QB, which he is not. Moore is a hand-it-off-and-then,-once-in-a-while-pass-to-catch-defenders-off-guard type of QB. So when the run game struggled.....

Well, in your defense, he did give the ball to Smitty. Smitty can turn a 5 yard pass into a big play but I wouldn't go as far as crediting Moore for that.

All this pro-Clausen talk is seriously baffling to me. Go compare his stats to David Carr's rookie year stats. They are unsurprisingly similar.

We should have never drafted Clausen. We needed a receiver to compliment Smitty as he ages out, and it created pressure on Moore that affected his play.

Not only that, but he's shown nothing that he has the talent or skill to in his play to be a starter in the pros. You can "will" all you want. If you don't have the tools to succeed, you won't. Period.

I'd give Cam the nod on leadership and being more natural in that type role. That was the biggest positive about Jake....he had that and imo it goes along way.

smitty, gettis, lafell... they each got some TD lovin'. Moore wasn't afraid to go deep and take chances... which, imo, is part of why Clausen ended up the complete opposite. Didn't want to get benched like Moore, but he ended up being benched anyway.

Clausen got Gettis and Lafell the ball but for whatever reason he couldn't get in the endzone hardly at all.

But that's your Opinion CRA and you can have that. But I rather listen and get info about scouting players from people who get paid 2 be scouts. Not MB GM and Walmart baggers who blame the kid for everything that happen this season.

You say you don't think he can be a NFL qb. My question is what scounting service or Football team do you work for? Why should I trust your opinion over Ron Jaworski or Mayock? Too be as sure as you are you have 2 have played QB for 10 years in the NFL.

Matt Leinart. But he's going to have to do so in Chud's offense.
