thanks, that is crazy im not sure if i was in the superbowl i would play in the pro bowl, for risk of injury. so that might make it more of a show of most of the best players instead of all of the best players. i dont know how that got by me. im usually on top of this type of stuff. it will probably make more hype during the suberbowl week if it is played before the superbowl. i sort of see what they are trying to do lets hope it is good.

i cant say i blame them, going to hawaii always had a sort of ring to it. i think the players will hate it but they might be right in the fact that it will generate more buzz for the superbowl. but i wonder if it will seem like the probowl is the opening act for the superbowl kind of like the probowlers are the fluffers for the superbowl teams............just a thought.

It does take away some of the reward for playing well. The only ones I can see that will benefit hugely will be the city hosting the Super Bowl. I wonder, too, how the fields that are not artificial will hold up. They now have alot of time to get the field ready. With the Pro Bowl played the week before, they'll have less than a week. Do they have the Super Bowl logos on the field during the Pro Bowl?

I personally don't like it.

Also it'll be before the Super Bowl, so I can't really see guys who will be in the Super Bowl playing in it...

There's not even a chance that players competing in the Super Bowl will play in the Pro Bowl if it's done the weekend before the Super Bowl. Not even a chance...

Well, if I were a Hawaii native, I'd be highly depressed about it. Hawaii can't really claim any NFL team, only one game.

Of course, it's so expensive to live there that I wouldn't be able to afford to go to the game anyhow, so not big deal. Besides, there's always the (Rainbow) Warriors!

Hawaii and football shoudn't be in the same sentence. Well they do have the rainbow warriors.

    • Him and Sanders are the only QBs I would consider in the first round. I won’t be upset if we take Sanders, unlike some people on the board. Both have potential to be really good NFL QBs if the teams can develop them.  But as we have seen teams are not willing or are unable to now properly develop rookie QBs.
    • I remember the last time we had a Cam at QB in Charlotte
    • Because Young is so historically bad that it just skews too far outside the normal deviations that perspective is easily lost. That or they just don't want to believe it.  The struggles last year would have been more about the infighting and poor roster building or idiot owner's hiring practices than with Stroud. He wouldn't have been as good but he wouldn't have been ruined here and the pressure was not Carr-esk if you take out the Young created portion from his playing style.  Dude is a young guy on a team coached by a Defensive guy building a good D but not building up the O in year 2 of his HC 1st time gig. Seems familiar... Go look at his output this year and not just some crappy Thursday night implosion game, I would take that in a second and never ever look back every time without a shred of doubt while eating 4 of those games a year with a giant smile on my face.
