Been listening to a lot of Stevie Wonder lately. Guy is a musical and lyrical genius.

Chorus always takes me by surprise on this one. Just doesn't seem like a natural direction to take, but it works and it sticks in your head.

Very much an underappreciated talent especially from the 60s and 70s.

All the songs on side 2 of this album feature Elton John on piano and includes the song "Rock Me When He's Gone," which is one of the first collaborations from Elton John and Bernie Taupin. Rod Stewart produced part of the album, Elton John the remainder. Ron Wood appears on a few numbers, as does Maggie Bell and Sam Mitchell.

The album contains original work as well as blues covers of Willie Dixon, Lead Belly, a Randy Newman tune and a tune by Rod Stewart, Ron Wood and Ronnie Lane.

Reginald Dwight (Elton John) and Baldry were in a band called "Bluesology" from 1966-1967.
