Who says I want a 2nd? Tell Buffalo at #3 we will switch with them plus their 3rd this year and 3rd next year.

Yeah, it's small compensation compared to other prior trades involving the #1 pick but it is the weakest draft since 2005 and with no CBA in place (yeah, I don't it will happen in the next 3 months) that pick just aint worth as much.

I don't see Buffalo giving all that up to move up 2 spots with this draft class.

Thats all good but whats in it for Buffalo? Really, Buffalo can stay right where they are and still fill one of their needs without trading draft picks or having to spend the the extra cash for the 1st over all pick..

I think the CBA will have alot to do with how we address the draft.

If it looks like we aren't going to have a season next year then we definitely look defensive. Fairley or Peterson and draft Luck #1 next year.

If the CBA gets done then we could trade down middle of the draft and get Gabbert (everybody loves so much) And pick up a 2nd or 3rd.

As everyone has said. Easier said than done. Hopefully someone will fall passionately in love with Green, Peterson or Fairley and want that #1 spot.

We'll See

The Panthers are on the Clock.

Congrats Green Bay Packers

If Hurney manages to trade out of the #1 overall with any close to reasonable compensation (I'm talking like a 3rd only) he should be knighted by the Queen of England.

I know now it looks unlikely but I am betting that a taker can be found as draft day approaches.

Swap with Denver and have them send us Orton.

This is the only "trade down" scenario I can see... it looks like Denver won't be bringing Bailey back and it sounds like The Golden Calf of Bristol will be the guy because Fox loves his intangibles, so I could see Denver wanting to move up one spot to secure Patrick Peterson as Bailey's replacement, but I'm not sure they would want to give up Orton in that trade.

Fairley just tweeted this for those that are interested:

#Panthers fans on twitter for my usual Q&A at 6:30 tonight. Panther fans only. Ask me anything. I'll get to as many as I can in 1/2 HR.

I'm going to try and find out if he wants to keep # 90...
