I get what you're saying.. Even if you have the best defense in the league, they probably aren't going to outscore the opposing team if the offense doesn't score points themselves.. I'm not saying you need an AMAZING offense to win games, but you at least need a GOOD and CONSISTENT one that has the ability to score points on a consistent basis, can't rely on defense all of the time, no matter how good they may be.

Yep so its not the end all either. But I have seen a superbowl won by a great defense and a pure shitty QB. Don't remember it the other way around.
