Sometimes I wonder if getting many different artists to perform little bits would be better.

But I think The Killers could do one hell of a half time show.

Zack Brown Band for 2012 or better yet no singing for the halftime show.

They were bad and they always are. I've seen them do a few TV things and they are bad. I don't think they have talent at all. They can't sing very well and they can't rap very well. Any of the mentioned people/bands would have been better. They have some OK beats but other than that, they are bad and I don't get the popularity.

They need to have a bunch of different genres doing it, IMO. The whole country is watching, why make everyone watch ONE genre.

Auto-tuning of live acts never works out well. The whole shebang was long on sizzle, short on steak.

Something was jacked up with the sound, even though they sounded sh*tty enough as it was. Plus half of the lights didn't work. That was BAD.

First of all, they're not really a band. Do any of them actually play any instruments? That being said, they're a studio group--they sound great when over modulated and auto-tuned, but live? Not so much.

In regard to the halftime performance, as someone said earlier, the stadium audio sucked. I'm not sure anyone could have sounded good with that mess. And what was the deal with the box heads on stage with the Black Eyed Peas at the end of their set? I couldn't stop laughing at them, and I kind of doubt that was the point.

If they're trying to appeal to the younger audience they achieved their goal. Our 10 year old daughter loved it, she was up dancing around. Dan & myself are both in our 30's and we both had that "WTF" look on our faces.

Horrible, just horrible. What were they thinking?

We thought the box heads were hilarious! As bad as they sounded they all needed boxes on their heads.

Ive still never seen a live rap performance that was worth a poo. Not saying that its not possible but they seems to be as rare as hens teeth.

They need to quit trying to make half-time a rock show and just focus on football.

Too much money is made on those shows, not a chance of this happening.

I don't understand the hate (except for the cube heads. Best off the cuff remark at my party, "Look for me during the Halftilme show, I'll be the one with a box on my head.") But I was entertained, as was everyone at the party; more people watched every second of the Halftime show than the entire game. It was a true spectacle. I think too many people are just Black eyed Peas haters.

Also, I should mention that during the show I was pretty lit on Goombay Smash, so frisbee catching dogs probably would have blown my mind.
