I love the whole Battlefield series, but the only thing I wish they would do is give some sort of points for winning a game. I mean, there really is no incentive to play as a team and win, it's all about individual effort. I wish it deducted some amount of xp for a loss, and multiplied for a win. And I wish you lost xp for crashing vehicles so douchebags would stop chopper spawn camping.

I would argue BF urges you to play as a team more than most any other game.

I WISH it had a "learn to fly newb" practice mode tho.

BF is all about team play, and you do get a small xp bonus for winning, being the best squad and the best player.

OPTING OUT OF REVIVING. That is huge. I can't tell you how many times I've cursed the name of a medic who revived me in the middle of 85 enemies.

I have never played Battlefield only Bad Company's online Demo a few years ago. I am very interested in BF3, but I was curious to know if someone could explain to me the online multiplayer.

What are the objectives? How does each person on each team know what to do, what guns to use, etc? So whose to say the entire team doesn't decide "hey I want to snipe, or use an assault rifle?" I am just kinda confused but very intrigued about the game.

Thanks in advance for helping a BF newb. I have been playing the CoD series for years and I always feel its just pray spray and mass murder without any team cooperation.

I'm stoked, even if it's a beta. You can rank up and unlock everything in the two weeks it'll be out which is nice for a beta. I think they just want to show everyone how the game is, more so than beta test, just like Call of Duty world at war that one time. I'm cool with that, at least they have the guts to show some of the game before hand.
