Game looks awesome on PC, which is why I want it on PC...but everyone I know plays on 360.

Just got off my 360. Played 4 hours straight, some lag here and there but overall servers were better. They should have them optimum by weekend.

I love the tanks, me and a buddy drive one around and he repairs while I'm blasting other tanks, good fun.

I love on rush that I just plant C4 on the bomb sites, watch from a good place and blow people up over and over coming on it.

Just hate that there is so many people playing TDM in a Rush. MW3 should drag those people away though.

Flying seems hard as crap though.

As a hardcore COD guy, I bought it at midnight on release day and played several hours that night before going to bed, and here's my observations:

*In the past, playing any other war/fps game, my favorite game mode has been TDM. After playing this, with all the stuff going on in the other game modes (Conquest, Rush), I prefer these over TDM. Flying the helicopter, planes, and driving tanks while helping with your team to a win is awesome.

*I have had some lag issues on the server - I'll be running and my character jumps back to where he was a second before and then jumps back to where I last was as I was running... It also has happened quite a bit when using ADS - it will jump from zooming in to back out.

*The overall graphics are amazing, as in the environments and the combat itself, but I still think the soldiers and the weapons look kind of pooty and cheap.

Still a really fun game overall and it's fun to rank up and unlock new weapons and attachments, although I think the system for unlocks and upgrades is much more convoluted than in COD.

Lag will get better I think as they balance the servers. Still loving this game. Battlelog is a nice time waster too at work.

Yeah it updates. Even shows your stats on a game to game basis (at least for like 20 matches or w/e).

I'm a bf fanboy and I'm probably not getting this until january(if i even do get it, I'm so stacked with werk and other poo). I've been watching a couple of walkthrough videos and they look amazing.

Some notes on typical Battlefield issues.

Rubberbanding style lag and not being able to connect to a server is COMPLETELY on EA. they always undershoot their needs for servers. I remember getting BC2 and that poo was ok for a while, then it'd rubberband like crazy during peak hours. Got extremely annoying. While it's nice that you get dedicated servers and poo, it's annoying that they're not very well maintained or they decided to go cheap. Of course, that's another story for the PC end because you can host your own poo.

The game is fun, but, in terms of the gun play, CoD is just more responsive. However, there has been a trace of lag in most games tonight so that isn't helping.

It's starting to grow on me more now... it seems that once you start unlocking new weapons and attachments it starts to feel a bit more like BFBC2. Plus its incredibly gratifying to finish with a 5-7 KD ratio, and be one of the top 2 or 3 on the scoreboard over others who had a KD of 15-5. Gun-play is not my strong point, I will go 50/50 either way for me, so capping flags, arming M-Coms, and playing the support role is my strong point... glad to see that it's rewarded nicely

Once they get the lag in order it's going to be even more of a blast. I've always been someone that can feel lag even in the slightest, maybe my game play, but I can't wait till it is resolved.

Finally unlocked the scar and holo sight... now at least it's not entirely one sided when I meet an enemy. Still like taking objectives more than anything though. That's the big diff between BF and COD series (for me at least). COD offers the same type of game types (CTF, domination, etc), but the maps are so small, every games turns into team deathmatch.

Yeah the lag is pretty bad - well either that or I'm playing against people that have the reflexes of a cat.

I'm not liking how hard sniping is now - the glare basically acts as a spotlight "Hey I'm a sniper over here. Come and shoot me!" It also appears that everyone is running around with the SCAR, which suggests that's overpowered.

I've been playing a good bit but I just can't seem to get in to it. The unlocking of weapons is just retarded to me, the only reason for it is to keep people playing. I played Counter Strike/Day of Defeat for years but every modern FPS I've played can't even keep my attention for a couple weeks. The entire genre has become stale to me. It's all about graphics and perks(weapon unlocking and such) and lacks good core game play.
