If you did not play BF2, and no not bad company 1 or 2. Ea and Dice admit that you can't hold the two games on the same level just because they say battlefield. They are two different game and not sequels of each other. (referring to battlefields vs Bad Companys) Battlefield games never had instant kill knifing. No pc fps that I can remember until Cod4 had instant kill knifes. Just look at any valve game, half life, Counter strike, Day of Defeat. (great games and that is why they are still some of the most popular PC games.) In BF2 snipers were honestly the least of your worries. It took real skill to use so if you were good with it then power to you. They were not just point and shoot. You had to judge distance and wind etc and adjust your shots to the conditions you were in. If you don't agree go play BF2 on a 64 player map and see how many times you get killed by a sniper.

yeah there were barely any snipers when I played BF2 a while ago god that game was fun. I sucked so I was a medic or ammo guy. I would actually run a long the ridges a lot supporting the snipers and other teams just entering into the battle.

I think I'd rather get killed by someone who did something better than me, as opposed to some geriatric fool who hides 3 miles across the map.

Granted I hate CoD and BF.
