I have a feeling the Steelers will pass on him and he'll fall to the Browns 1st pick in the 2nd round.

If it looks to be going that way, the Browns may pull a Panthers move and trade back up into the first round by a spot, two or three just so they can get that 5th year option.

I'd rather do this than take someone at a need position that would go late 1st-early 2nd in an average class.

I don’t know- I’ve had the Mykel suspicion since January - think we’re pretty much going with him no matter what chaos ensues.

Seriously though, if today's Breer/McShay/etc. rumors are holding water, we could be looking at:

1-Ward

2-Hunter

3-Carter

4-J Walker

5-Jeanty/Tet

6-?? Jeanty/Barron (Barron has been a rumored surprise scenario)

7-Warren/Banks/Membou/Campbell

8-Are we being gifted Graham in this scenario? And would our FO actually take him or pass on him bc of their infatuation for Mykel Williams? Almost want a thread in itself to get a sense of THAT reaction lol.

I personally think it is

1. Ward

2. Hunter

3. Carter

4. OT or DL (Membou, Campbell, Walker, Graham)

5. TMAC if Offensive, graham or walker if def. 

6. walker/graham/mykel

7. warren/banks/membou/campell

 

i don’t see jeanty going until maybe 10. I only see tmac going in top 10 if jags truly need to make TLaw comfortable and breakout as they would like him to live up to the big contract.

Walker to the Pats is a crazy scenario.  With a 2nd year QB, how do you not give him more weapons or protection when it is lacking?

If they don't think Campbell is an LT, then you don't take him there IMO.  You just don't take a guard at 4 overall. Then you look at Membou, but he's a RT and they just signed Moses to man that side.  They haven't been as tied to Banks.  Walker has been slowly picking up steam with them since some interview w/Vrabel a few weeks ago.  Could fit what he's trying to do.

They take the talent that elevates the team rather than lock yourself into a higher risk need-based move.  That could also be Jeanty IMO.  I think he really is THAT coveted this year.  Occasionally there are RBs who do warrant that level of consideration and some teams may think that.  

Then they could easily trade back into the 1st for Conerly/Jackson/Ersery/etc.

Jeanty + Conerly ain't a bad scenario for Maye in the slightest.

Its tough when you weigh the value at #4 overall, this years OT1 is last years OT4 maybe even OT5. Also doesn’t help the measurement concerns of Campbell and whether or not membou is strictly a RT. It truly is a tough decision for them if one of Hunter or Carter isn’t there.

Yup, but people were pissed when we won that last game with the Falcons.  We'd be sitting at #6 had we lost basically looking at he same options as #8.  That's unless Walker does go at pick four or five.  Still, it's a pretty weak draft at the top overall.

Six gives us a pretty strong shot at Graham, which would be the easy choice.

Mcshay released a new vid this morning and said the same thing. Also pretty much said dont expect a trade up for shedeur in the top 10 atleast. Gonna have to pick somebody at 8.

If Graham gets past the Jags at #5, the chances of us getting him at #8 goes ups dramatically.  I'm still convinced the Raiders are going for an impact skilled player.  Jets are going offense, almost certain of it.
