Wow, I am impressed you even know who they are dude, props to you! They put on one hell of a live show. Saw them open for Modest Mouse at the Orange Peel a little while back. They were damn near better than Mouse live. High energy and very interactive with the fans. Me and a buddy hung out with the drummer for about 15 minutes after the show. He gave me a silly band :cool:

Actually saw them at Cat's Cradle with Cage the Elephant and have been following them for about a year waiting for them to put an album out.

Also, Mastodon has begun writing a new album...it'll be interesting to see what direction they decide to go in after Crack The Skye.

I'm cautiously optimistic about Mastodon. I was not a big fan of Crack the Skye. It had it's moments. The Last Baron and The Czar were both good tracks.

I'm additionally pumped for Opeth.

My dad has been a musician all of his life, and I have too...

I never said Jack White wasn't a creative musician, I just suggested my opinion that 2 members of BTBAM were more creative... In all actuality, all the members of BTBAM probably have more creativity in one finger than Jack White does as a whole, but that is for another thread...
