Do you think Goodell should be fired?

I don't know... but I don't really get the "No Fun League" stuff quite so much. I admit it's kinda frustrating to see flags thrown all the time but I think that the poor officiating is as much on other penalties as it is on the "new rules." The hits stuff is to protect the NFL from future litigation. I know we think it sucks now but some former player was going to sue them and sue them big. Seemed like it had to be done.

Did he go too far? I don't know. I think some of the rules DO need to be reviewed, especially for when and who is allowed to lead with a helmet etc.

I don't think he is responsible for the CBA stuff at all really so no, I don't blame him for it.

There are two groups of people that can destroy football: the owners and the players. Goodell isn't gonna destroy it.

The CBA talks should have happened a LONG time ago.

This.

Goodell's responsibility is managing this league. If he is taking a "hands-off" attitude about it, and letting the owners and NFLPA duke it out, he's not doing his job.

Paul Tagliabue was instrumental at getting the deals done in the past. He was active, and passionate about keeping football going.

I've seen little of that from Goodell.

OK then, forget about blaming the CBA on him. What about those ridiculous fines?

Ok, first reason was not good.....So what about? If you just don't like him that is one thing, but to try and search for a reason is another. How about this..... Do some research and find a "FIRE-ABLE REASON" and then get to making a poll...Just an IDEA!

I don't like how Goodell lies about how people want to see an 18 game season, or that we want less preseason games. (For those who want less preseason games, it is only because you want to be entertained, that is not what the preseason is there for. Sorry.:( ) We all know it is a money grab. I also don't like how he wants to have more regular season games in other countries.

One of the good things he has done was making the draft a shorter process.

He dances around questions when asked by the Media.

Penalizes Players for Helmet to Helmet hits, whether it was intentional or not.

Gets in Players personal lives WAY too much.

And is an overall a*shole.

I think the Owners will end up getting fed up with him, and voting him out.

Actually about a year and a half ago when all the cutting the pre-season short stuff started most fans and players wanted it....Now as for how many fans want an 18 game regular season... that I do not know, and can't comment because I do not know where his information came from.

Like JR I was listening to Sirius and heard a fan call in the Goodell called personally. It was found out that he calls fans of all teams very frequently and often... It could be based on those conversations, or maybe they did some polling. So to say what he says is a lie is completely baseless.

Do I agree with them... No. But the purpose of what he is doing can be legitimately argued. No commissioner is going to do everything fans think they should on ever subject.

At the end of the day those fines are no reason to fire the commish.

Fact is right now the sport is at an all time high, and he is still pushing it to new medias and markets.
