Show Your Tattoos Off...

I used to work with a guy that did that... he had a full sleeve on his left arm... I always wondered how he could do that in the summer.

Yeah, now you can buy those arm sleeve thingies tho if you want and just wear them over, guess its just a preference of whether you want a long sleeved shirt, or just something covering your arm.

In JH's case, I think he took the smart route just wearing the long sleeved since he is in a hospital.

Yea, I have been wearing long sleeves for 4 years now, the summers can sometimes be bad but once im in the hospital its cool usually so not that bad. I wear the under armour shirts or the same type shirt under my scrubs...

I hate to bag but for some reason, th mini-van is detracting from the coolnes :D.

Just kidding Dragn.

I will post some of my own tomorrow. Not as fresh as some of these shown but they all have a story..

Mini-vans are the sh*t. They make all tattoos look better. I always make sure my neighbor is home when I take tattoo pics. lol

I really do love tatts, I just hate that they cost so much. I would be covered if they were a little cheaper. That was my first one, and I really enjoyed the whole experience. It was about 2 years ago. I cant wait to get started on the half sleeve.

Ok, here are a few of mine. They look old because I got them many moons ago so please bear with. Sorry for the crappy photography but my phones memeory is filled with pics of my junk....:D

Tribal Symbol inside a Bear Paw - This is something the men in my family do when we go off to the military or war. It represents the symbol of our tribe inside a paw of our spirit guide to protect us from harm. We do it in a closed ceremony by a tribal tat artist. It works ok, but I still got shot in the leg once.

Night Stalker - I and a bunch of my buddies have this very same tat. We got it after we graduated SOAR school and our "Q" Course in 1982. We were one of the first classes to pass a new regimen for a Direct Action force transported by Helicopter (160th SOAR). One of the guys drew it up and we got a shop to do all of us. It represents how we felt our mottos reflect to real life ("Night Stalkers Don't Quit" and "Death Waits in the Dark"). It is a Gargoyle (vigilant protector) surrounded by lightning and smoke with a full moon in the background. There are skulls in his eyes and in the moon. He is laughing because in the most hostile environment, at night, is his element. His wings represent that we were an airborne unit. It has faded a bit.

Calvin - on my leg. I got this in 1985 when the series first came out. I was in Central America and we got papers from the US. I liked his smartassedness and a buddy made a tat gun out of a walkman motor and guitar string. I got to go first. I wanted him thinned out and looking pissed...

Claw marks covered by steel plate - I got the claw marks after my last divorce (was married 12 years). It represented how I felt, my heart was ripped out. I promised my self that I would get it covered after I meet a new love and she would repair it. That was Mama-San. She knew how much that meant to me and was there when we got the plate added. Te tat guy wouldn't cover somebody else's work so the plate is hollow.
