Time Warner internet?

Road Runner is OK. There are 2 speeds. I don't know if it's better than any other broadband.

on paper, RR is supposed to be faster, but for whatever reason, if you have AT&T in your area, go with that instead...

all I know is ATT blows away RR... however, anything cable-like will be faster than Clear, so you prob'ly won't be too picky.

ATT is in some pretty rural areas, but not a guarantee by any means.

I really wish Verizon FIOS would come to NC. I guess I'll have to try Road Runner, because Clear is no longer a choice sense they're implementing a 10GB data cap.

I have RR high speed and it is fine.

But

As soon as I can get ATT in my area I am definitely switching.

I have RR and I love it. Had it for years. I hardly ever have any issues honestly. I could count the issues on one hand over the last 8 years.

I pay $60 a month, cause I pay 10 extra to supercharge or w/e it's called. I'm happy with the speeds (although like someone said you can't touch fiber or anything like that).

I wouldn't worry about download limit on RR. I've never had issues and have downloaded a ton. Over the last 2 days I've downloaded 200gigs of Battlestar Galactica stuff.

It really depends on your neighborhood. RR is a shared bandwidth. So if you are in an apartment complex or development with a lot of houses, you will have slow times at night (typically around 8 when everyone in the neighborhood is on it).

PLUS, Time Warner sucks. They are the Devil

We've not had a problem with RR. Our only other options are back to dial up or hugh's net, though.

yeah, there are better options than TW, just depends if it's in your area..

i think TW has a fortress around Charlotte. Some friends have ATT/U verse but where I live, TW has it on lock down.

In Greensboro we have ATT, Clear and Time Warner.

u have ATT yes but do u have Uverse? if those lines are down in your neighborhood for uverse then that is the best option. if not go with RR.

Just never ever go with comcast...NEVER!!!
