Washington Named Dline Coach

He's the coordinator. Replaced Babich, who got demoted back to LB coach.

Wonder if Washington was out of contract. I didn't think just they'd let him go otherwise. He hadn't been in the job that long.

Ah ok just remembered a while back he started there as the D-line coach didn't know he got moved up

pretty surprising hire, but a good one nonetheless. i didn't know he was an option.

comes from a college coaching background and before that was in the navy.

dude has a weird gourd, though...

head is big and kind of off center. pretty sure that doesn't matter, though.

Is the picture messed up or is that guys face like 10 feet tall?

He looks like Carl Winslow smushed in from the sides.

i looked at a few pics of him to see if it was just that particular picture and they all are like that. stretched out and off center.

damn I didn't see your comment now I know I'm not crazy. It looks like his forehead doesn't line up with the jawbone correctly. This gets more and more hilarious.

    • They reached for Pickett, so they are not immune to it.  I could see that as well.  I just think the Colts are flying under the radar and they have been too quiet concerning their QB situation--of course, they could think Jones is their guy (they had a good one named Jones a long time ago) but I think they are done with the Richardson experiment.   Even if I believed in Jones, I would still draft a QB--I also read one mock that said the Jets would take Sanders if he falls to 7---I disagree, but I was once wrong and it still bothers me.
    • I just switched to prime video with fanduel south. Will I be able to watch the Canes playoff games still?
    • I mean, you can use that "logic," but the problem is that most practice squad players, backups or average guys don't put the play on film that Wharton did when given their opportunities.  Perhaps you'll end up right, but I don't think that just because a guy has been in a rotation makes him inherently less productive because he gets more snaps. I will say that the KC fans I've seen on social media loved him, and considered him their second best DT,  regardless of his "rotational" status, and generally considered him a dawg, so I'm going to give him the benefit of doubt until he shows otherwise.
