Alot of people say guys like him (usually either the safety or ILB) are the quarterback of the defense. Well, I would say that Beason is the running back of our defense. He plays with the attitude of a primetime back, looking to make a play on every down. Plus when he does get his hands on the football, he doesn't expect to go down quitely, but looks to get it in the endzone. (If memory serves me correctly, he did play a little running back in high school.) He's the beacon of our defense.

I second that. Of the two I'd love to see us make a play for Zach Miller. I was hoping we would've drafter him a few years back. He would instantly upgrade our TE corp.
