There is no such thing as legally koing a QB now. If you so much as pat him on the back hard anymore its 15 yards.

Depends on the QB.. If you're Clausen, that doesn't apply. He'll get concussed and then we get flagged.

Yeah but that's not what he does. He headbutts shins and grinds his helmet into theirs to cut the QB's face up. That's not what football's about.

Despite what it has become, football was and is ABOUT two men lining up across from themselves, looking each other in the eye, and deciding who is the meanest motherf#cker between the two of them.

It is Sumo Wrestling with 22 men at once and some of them having 15 yd head starts. It is destruction and pain on grass. It is everything that is undecent and primordial about mankind. It is the basics of survival wrapped into a game.

Define legal. If you go back and look at tape Fairley plays hard ass football, not dirty football. I want a guy with a mean streak. I think the NFL has pussified the game too much to protect QB's and make it where 4000 yard seasons are the norm.

And you know what? If fairly gets one 15 yard flag per game and scares the poo out of opposing QB's screwing up their game....GOOD!!!

If he knocks a guy out with a clean hit, I have no problem with it.

If it's a dirty shot, yeah I have a problem, because I'd be pissed if one of their guys did it to us.

Playing to hurt the opposing player IS football. You put on pads and you want to hurt the guy opposite you. If not, go do knitting.

You do NOT ever play to INJURE an opponent. There is a huge difference.

Not only is the NFL getting more strict about those things, they are penalizing more as well. What good is he to us if he spends most of the season suspended.
