I'm sure there are other coaches out there capable of coaching the RB position.

Yes there is, but Skipper wasn't just a position coach, he was a great guy and had excellent chemistry with our RB's. With how valuable the RB position is, I think we would have kept the guy who has helped develop the best RB duo in the league (though stats don't confirm that this season, we all know its true).

yes, and he also represented the old "Fox era" probably better than any other coach that was on the staff.

Also this doesn't help our chances to sign D-Will but in my mind it really doesn't change them that much. I mean what did you expect D-Will to say, Skipper plays no role in his life, like Fox the players really like him, but you don't see everyone freaking out bc we hired Rivera. At the end of the day, its going to be Hurney and co. who decide if D-Will is going to be a Panther or not....if they pay him he'll stay , if they are confident in our other backs he's gone

As much as I love D-Will I just don't see us resigning him.
