i turned off signatures and avatars months ago and my experience on the site improved immediately. i have seen naked and scantily clad women before and i know where to find them when i want to see them.

which part do you think is lies? it was already taking each page of a thread like 20 seconds to load completely, even on a stupid fast uverse connection. i'd much rather just read and participate in the discussion, thanks. this is the internet, pretty ladies and blogs are only a couple of clicks away.

Yeah but if it's taking 20 secs to load with them on it's pretty sad. I only have a 1.5mb connection and no pages take more than 3 secs to load.

I turn off sigs and avatars at work because...well...I don't want to get fired. I turn them back on at home, and don't have any problem with pages loading. I'm with Floppin, your computer sucks.
